Amy Latimer

President, TD Garden

Amy Latimer was named President of TD Garden in September 2012 after six seasons as the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing. She is responsible for all day-to-day operating functions of one of the most successful sports and entertainment venues in North America.

Latimer was part of the inaugural executive team as she took on the role of Director of Marketing at TD Garden when the building opened in 1995. She went on to launch the arena’s e-Business department, harnessing website strategies and database marketing. She has also served as the Director of e-Business and Vice President of Ticketing for the Boston Bruins and TD Garden. A recognized leader in the sports & arena industry, she was named one of the Sports Business Journal’s ‘Game Changers’ in 2011 and 2015’s WISE Woman of the Year. Most recently, Latimer was appointed to the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority’s Board of Directors.

Throughout her tenure at TD Garden, Latimer has overseen and participated in many of the arena’s charitable endeavors via Garden Neighborhood Charities in addition to serving on the MA State Advisory Board for The Salvation Army, the MIAA Educational Athletic Advisory Board, Special Olympics of MA Advisory Board, and sits on the Board of Directors for Good Sports Inc.

The native of Ellicott City, MD received her degree in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island, which she attended on a full basketball scholarship. Latimer also took political management courses at George Washington University and worked for Empower America while lining in Washington, D.C. She currently resides in Topsfield, MA with her husband Jody and their three sons.

I was contacted by the Lowell Spinners after dropping off my resume at their table and I interned there this past summer. The internship was a great experience. If you are on the fence, I would HIGHLY suggest attending the summit, you even get lunch! -Kerrin O'Leary, Bridgewater State University '19
